Let’s work it out.

Pixels describe image dimensions. Bytes describe the encoded file size. A photo with more pixels is not always a larger file. A 200 KB limit means at most 200,000 bytes.

JPG is useful for most photos and forms. PNG supports transparency and can be larger. HEIC compresses efficiently on devices with an encoder, but some destinations do not accept it.

Fit preserves the full photo and aspect ratio. Fill crops edges to meet the exact frame. Canvas adds a background to meet the frame without cropping. Stretch changes proportions.

Select PNG and a transparent background to preserve alpha. JPEG always needs a solid background. Check semi-transparent edges in the preview.

Pixel count = inches × PPI. A centimeter is 1/2.54 inch. Changing only PPI metadata does not add pixels or detail. Printer DPI is a separate device property.

Another encoder, lossless PNG, higher quality, a background or a different color profile can make a file larger. Resivaro reports the final bytes, including any increase.

A selected cloud photo or document may need to download first. Resivaro processes the local copy; it does not upload photos to a processing service. Retry an import after restoring your connection.

Pro is one non-consumable Apple purchase. Use the same Apple Account and choose Restore purchases. Pending purchases unlock only after Apple approval.

Photos saves to your photo library. Files lets you choose a destination. Sharing is complete only when the system reports completion. Closing a share sheet does not count as saving.
